mother & son

I have 1 male baby gerbil left, if i keep him with mum, will they breed? please understand me, i do not want this to happen. kind regards Carol.

I'm afraid that they may well do.  Whilst you know they are mother and son once he reaches maturity they won't know this and he is likely to mate with her. Therefore unless you want a litter you really ought to separate them.
