hamster sickness

i have a hamster named hammy and he isn't eating, moving, and his eyes are usually stuck together after he sleeps so i have to get the things off. after u wake him up, he just sits there and falls aslep again.is my hamster sick? is he dying? is he and old age?

How old is he? 1.5 years is older age for a hamster, and after this time they are more likely to become ill!! It sounds as though he needs to be seen by a vet though, as he doesn't sound well, and it maybe something the vets can make better for you, with proper medication!!!
