My Hamsters Bleeding

My hamster is bleeding from what looks like the tail or behind.. i think he may be 1.5-2 years old. im really scared he is going to die? what can i do, and will he die?

Felicia, First I only saw this once in dwarf hamsters.  Let me start if its with other hamsters TAKE THEM OUT they can be fighting wounds.

Second-He could be scratching mites??? Try the vet or local breeder

Third-Wash out the wound CAREFULLY in luke warm water, then apply a small amount of Neo-sporn or triple antibiotic cream on the wounds.
