My gerbils symptoms are weird

I got my gerbil coconut just 2 days again by brother said his poop was black and hard the first day but then when i got here  he was oozing green kind of smelly poop and he's a white gerbil so hes got stains everywhere but this only happens when someone holds him he wont eat much i gave him a bit of jam to boost him up hes running around and playing with his roommate should i be worried ?

it sounds like your gerbil may have a little diarrhea and I would keep a close eye on your gerbil as well as giving your gerbil a little bit of yogurt to help with digestion. If you notice your gerbil having more frequent diarrhea I would call a small animals vet as soon as possible.  I hope this helps.
