Hamster is not as active as before

Dear kelly,

i have a 5 weeks old syrian hamster, and recently her left eye just wont open and her behaviour has changed,she's not as active as before and she tend to sit still on one corner of her cage even when its
7-10 PM ( Her usually most active hours ) my sister and I are very worried and we dont know what to do,she eats and grooms normally but she walks very slow,what should we do?

Hi Adjie,

It sounds like your hamster is pretty sick.  I won't speculate on what's wrong because it could be a number of different things, and you really should take your hamster to the vet for a proper diagnosis/treatment.  I wish I could help you more, but a vet is your best option.  I hope she'll be okay.
