Dear Alyssa,
Although I am not a vet, I have experienced this before. It sounds like your hamster has an illness called wet tail. This illness works very quickly and will eventually take your hamsters life if not caught in time. I always keep a bottle of Dri-tail to treat this illness since it is common, but it only works if you catch it very early on. For your case it sounds urgent and you should rush it to the vet immediately, other wise it may die.
