Bladder Infection

Hi Heather,
I have a 3 month old Syrian hamster and he had blood in his urine a couple days ago. I couldn't take him to the vet because of money issues, but I don't see anymore blood in his urine. Could the infection have passed, if that what it was. He drank alot of water, could that have flushed it out? He is not showing anymore symptoms, he seems to be happy and active. Please answer asap!

It is possible that your hamster healed itself, since he would still be bleeding if there was a problem. As long as your hamster isn't acting funny, and is drinking a usual amount of liquid (more or less would indicate a problem), then the infection cleared itself up.
