Question
QUESTION: can two different hamsters have pups becuase I have a female teddy bear
hamster and two dwarf hamsters and my female teddy bear hamster named
sasha seems to like my dwarf hamster named rocky and rocky likes sasha
and I'm sure they like each other because they watch each other every
day

ANSWER: Dear Rachel,
thank you for your question.
As far as I know, the different hamster species cannot breed (except Winter Whites and Campbells, but they are very closely related).
Don't let them meet each other - Sasha would probably kill or at least hurt Rocky. They probably watch each other because it's interesting for them, some kind of hamster TV ;)
I hope I was of some help to you

QUESTION: thanks jennifer also do you know if i touch rocky and dont wash my hands and then touch shasha will she bite me and how can I stop sasha from biting the cage

Answer
It might be that Sasha will bite when she smells another hamster (or even another rodent) on your hand. Many hamsters don't, but it's better to wash hands.
Biting cage bars is a sign of boredom and/or a too small cage. In my opinion, the minimum size for a Syrian hamster is 3 ft long and 2 ft high and wide. Converted cupboards or cabinets can make good and comparatively cheap hamster cages, old fish tanks that are no higher than wide (for ventilation) with a lid from mesh wire are also a good option (check garage sales!).

Provide Sasha with entertainment in form of cardboard boxes with or without food hidden in them, toilet paper rolls, food scattered in the bedding, veggies and fruit threaded on a string or clamped between the cage bars, branches and leaves from hazel, beech, birch, willow, apple, oak or pear tree (if untreated), patches of grass (can be grown from bird seed or hamster food in unfertilized potting soil) and exchange one of her toys with a new one each week, except for her house. You can rotate the toys, after a months or so old toys are interesting again.

Depending on how long she has had the habit, it might be that she will never completely stop, it's a form of stereotypical behaviour and it turns into a sort of addiction very quickly.
I hope I was of some help to you
