Once i hold my hamster in my hands, he keeps backing up in my hands why is that?
and also what can i do to change the situation

My hamster does this too. Of all the ones ive owned, hes the only one who goes in reverse rather then forward. If your hamster wasn't going in reverse he'd be going forward, and still be trying to crawl from your hands. Trust me on this, from personal experience, you can't change a hamster's behavior when its not linked to something you can physically change. Try laddering your hands in front of you. Put one hand in front of the hamster and let him crawl on it, then put that hand in front of him, and just make an endless train of your hands for him to walk forward on. He will still want to move in reverse if you don't do this, but it's one way to move him forward for at least a little bit.
