Hamster ill

hi...i have a girl teddy bear hamster.  i beleive she is going to be a year old... wow time flies by.  but she is sick.. we do not know what is wrong and our vet didnt really help us any.  sammie is not eating she is not drinking, she is not moving, she is breathing hard and when you hold her you can feel her heart beating...she just threw up again...she is so weak and she cant do anything...please try and help me keep her alive... and if its infectious... please help me make sure her mamma dad and brother dont get sick...

the first thing to do is to seperate the sick hamster just in case it is infectious. The only thing I can think of her having is probably an internal disease. Did the vet give you any type of antibiotic to help. Jennifer I couldn't tell you exactly what is wrong with her but it sounds like a serious respiratory problem. The best thing would be to get antibiotics from the vet. I hope this helps.
