Year old female brindle boxer and has not gone into heat

I was wondering exactly around what age do female bocers tend to go into heat? I have never had a female dog before and my Diamond is my first and she is a year old and has yet to go into heat. Is that normal?

A female will first go into heat between 6 months and a 9 months old. She may have gone into a silent or split which you may not notice.  All very common.

Reasons that a female is late can be thyroid, food, or problems in estrous.
