breeding every heat

my shih tzu had puppys after they were weaned she became preg again just 5 mo between puppys how do i determne her cycles and what if she becomes preg again in so short of time my male can go to my daughters but i haven't figured her cycle is it posiable its less than 6 mo thank you for your time

her heat cycle should be about 6 months apart. not six 6 months from puppies being born but 6 months from start of last heat. so she should come into heat about 3 and a half months after pups are born. its bot bad to breed every heat if she is healthy and you take good care of her. after every litter she should have a vet checkup to see if she could do another litter or should wait. i really hope this helps. feel free to ask any other questions you may have.
