Were getting a boxer puppy who is 7 1/2 weeks old. Is this too young ?

Hi, we're getting a baby boxer and now I'm wondering if 7 1/2 weeks is too young?  I'm sure she is going to really miss all  of her siblings and mama.  Do you think we should should wait a few weeks? What would be best for the puppy?  thanks,

7 - 8 weeks is a good time.  Any time you take a pup away from it's pack there is going to be minor issues.  A warm blanket, TLC is and patience is usually enough to help them through it.

Most anxiety and separation issues are not the fault of the dog, but the fault of the owners who make the dogs "crazy".
