my chiwawa keeps trying to nest after litter

Please could you tell me why my chinaware keeps trying to nest after she has had her litter they are 4 days old and she keeps crying when they start to cry and she gets ancshes.

Was all the placenta's and afterbirth accounted for?  Did you do x-rays to see how many pups to expect?  How old is she?  Is this her first litter?

Chihuahua's can be anxious little dogs anyway, and her nerves could be shot.  Try giving her some Bach's Rescue Remedy or vitamin B to help calm her nerves.
