Dog breeding problems

Dear Renee Cox; I have a breeding problem with two dogs. We got a male for rent to make it breed with our female. We had some problems with the male. When it tries to breed our female it does it wrong. The problem is it breed the female at the head. Not the behind it. We tried alot but nothing works. What should we do ?

Hi. What day of the female's cycle is she on? Is the male very young, and is he proven? What you'll have to do is to try to gently move him to the right end, or put the female on a leash, and hold her head. This should encourage him to go to the right spot.
