Im worried

My "puppy," Molly, has recently started acting sad.  She mopes, won't eat, and just lays on the couch.  A few weeks ago, I thought that she might be pregnant.  Could a miscarriage cause her to act like this, and if so, what can I do to ease her?

Answer
A false pregnancy can cause this behavior.  They go through all the symptoms without the end result.  What she needs is either a playmate or a stuffed animal she can carry around with.  It will pass once her hormones go back to "normal".
