mating my dog, cant get it in.

i have a cavalier king Charles and have recently started to use him for stud, i now have two bitches to serve and my dog is mounting and thrusting but his penis is not going in. what do i do? please help.

How old is your dog? Has he ever been used for stud before? If he'll allow handling, you can try guiding his penis with one hand while using your other hand, placing it just beneath his tail when he's in mid-mount & push him slightly up & forward to help him. You may need to try several variations until you find something that's successful.
