      Thankyou so much for your advice you have confirmed all that i thought,and i have moved my girl into a 4* room why she is home alone,i have arranged for her to have as many house calls as possible through the day from other people that she loves,i'm so upset that i have to work,an the thought of my girl going into labour on her own is making me so anxious,but fingers crossed it happens over the weekend or in the middle of any night.

Sometimes there's just SO many variances & if it's your first time whelping puppies it IS anxious. I'm still a nervous wreck nearly every time but I don't let it show for the girl's sake!
