Dog leaks

My dog had puppies about 2 months ago about a week after birth she started leaking a red mucus like substance from her vagina I thought that was normal but its been two months and today I saw she had the same red mucus like substance leaking from her vagina again IS something wrong with my pug?

Hi John.  Without seeing the "red mucus" I can not be sure if it is normal or not.  I will tell you that some female dogs continue to "spot" for several months after giving birth.

If she is eating well, drinking plenty of water, has energy and not vomiting she might be ok.  However if you are concerned I suggest that you take her in for a check-up.
