Normal age dog

We have a setter of 9 years old. What is  the average age of this kind of dogs?

I believe that there is no average age for dogs anymore.  Environment, the hereditary factor, food, exercise all plays a large part in keeping your dog healthy.  Dogs aren't living as long, have more skin and health issues than they did even 10 years ago.

Check with your local club, breeder or association and get their take.
