I Have a 5 pound min pin

I have a 5 pound min pin a she is  going to have puppys ... How do you think she will do when she has them ???

Hi Rhonda, 5 pounds is small, the biggest thing you have to watch for is that she doesn't have complications while in labor.  If she seems to be having a problem delivering a pup, do not hesitate getting her to a vet because if a pup gets stuck, it can kill the pup as well as her.  Also, keep her on a puppy food until the puppies are fully weaned as she will need the extra calcium & vitamins.  Put her on an extra calcium supplement also to prevent her from getting eclampsia while nursing the pups.  Eclampsia can kill her within 24 hours.  Hope this helps,
