dog neutering

Hi..i had my dog neutered 3 days ago and he has been fine. This evening i noticed i huge blood like swelling under his skin. Is this normal....it is golf ball size. Thanks

Hi Mark,

You didn't say if the filled swelling was located at the site of the incision or not, I will assume it is.

It definitely isn't normal! This might be an infection, but that's just a guess. You shouldn't delay in contacting your vet's office and alerting them to this development.
