Treating a cold

My 9 week old boxer puppy has a cold what can I do to remedy this issue?

Hi Akil,

Puppies like humans and most animals are susceptible to colds and flues. If a puppy's cold is not well treated it can develop into more serious things like pneumonia, bronchitis, pulmonary congestion or asthma.

You didn't say what symptoms your puppy has, but I should caution you not to self diagnose this.

Distemper may be misdiagnosed in its early stages because it begins as an upper respiratory infection resembling a cold. For a puppy, distemper can be an extremely serious disease that a puppy can die from.

For that reason, I'd suggest taking your puppy to  your  veterinarian,  sooner rather than later.
