Getting my puppy to take her pills

Question
I have a 10 week old Puggle who absolutely refuses to take her medication for kennel cough. She won't eat it in bread, cheese, or peanut butter and my vet advised to just stick it in the back of her mouth.  I do that and she spits it back out.  I've tried crushing it up and hiding in her food, but we are having problems getting her to eat regular food also.  I need help.

Answer
Stick it in the back of her throat and add some liquid. Keep her mouth shut and held jaw pointing up,  and gently stroke her throat. She will have to swallow sometime.  :-)

Othewise crush and mix it in with some liver paste.  Ive yet to meet a dog who can resist this.
