Bulldog humping

We have 3 dogs 1 male lab mix, 1 female daschund, and puppy english mastiffpuppy.  We recently adopted a 2 year old unaltered bulldog.  When he gets excited he humps any thing and every thing.  He is fine with all of the dogs except for lab mix. No matter what we do he will not stop humping him.  He doesn't bother the two females his tounge will turn purple from lack of oxygen but he still will not give up.

Neutering him should help it, along with obedience training.  it sounds like it is about pack rank.   The key to most behavior problems is approaching things using the dog's natural instincts. Dogs see all the people and dogs in the household as a pack with each having their own rank in the pack and a top dog. Life is much easier if the 2 legged pack members outrank the 4 legged ones. You can learn to play the role of top dog by reading some books or going to a good obedience class. A good obedience class or book is about you being top dog, not about rewarding standard commands with a treat.
