identification on what problem is my dog having

Hi im Janaki, 16 years old. My pet is a dog from the breed of a terrier. He is 9 years and im not sure on what sickness has effected him. He gets some kind of growth around his anus. It gets bigger day by day and breaks eventually but another one tends to appear after certain weeks. It bleeds when it breaks which creates a big mess. Im wonderin if it could be cancer as it is growing non-stoply.I also believe that he is suffering an irrritation around the area. Any info or help that you could give me i will really appreciate it. Thank you.

Hi Janaki,
Yes, it could be cancerous, but is hard to say without a Veterinarian looking at it.  It could be infected anal glands too. Wash the area very well with warm soapy water. Dry, and put some Neosporing ointment on it.  See if that helps at all.  If you can take him to a Vet, it would be best as he probably need antibiotic drugs.  I hope he does ok.
