what is triple coat?

I have a 10 month old pomeranian and he is going to be triple coated. I want to know what are the layers of hair for the triple coat? His name is Jake and he is chocolate brown with green eyes, he is 16 lbs in weight, and is just gorgeous. But I want to know what the layers of the triple coat will be or are.

A triple coat is an undercoat which is thick and wooly and keeps the dog warm and they usually shed it in the spring as they don't need it inn the winter,an outer coat which is very fine and soft,and guard hairs which help keep the dog dry

Some breeds do not have an under coat,and some don't don't have an under coat or an outer coat,they only have guard hairs(usually terriers)
