My dog has internal bleeding

Question
My 7 year old yorkie has internal bleeding. She had very thick, dark bloody diarehha. She did not suffer any injuries. The vet thinks it is either from parasites, or something she ate. She has gotten into the garbage numerous times, and has 2 times in the past 3 days, but we don't know what she ate exactly. She may have eaten something that had bleach sprayed on it, but we don't think so. She DID eat a lot of boneless chicken though, and maybe some aluminum foil, we're not sure. The vet knows all of this, and says we have to wait and see. The vet has her on an IV (for dehydration) and is sending her blood to the lab. Can the vet do anything to stop the bleeding? My dog seems fine. She is barking and running around.

Answer
No xrays??? If she ate chicken bones by any chance,or aluminum foil they should've xrayed her. Also take her OFF food now, human and dog of any kind. Get her on some skinless boneless chicken and rice. Also get her on some unflavored yogurt at least twice per day to help get some good bacteria going in her gut. Make sure she gets LOTS to drink, preferably unflavored pedialite.  Did he check her for parasites? He shouldn't THINK he should know one way or another whether she has worms, or whatever. Please let me know how your baby is doing.
Blessings,
