dead hair

Question
All the fur on my golden retriever, Muffin's, hips is dead.  No matter how much I brush her, there's still always dead hair.  What could I do to get it off?

Hello Gina, there is a tool called the Furminator and I believe that there is a website under that name explaining the product.  It works well and does also involve a little elbow grease.  Basically any under coat rake or tool will help you.  www.petedge.com has the tools at a low price.  Use one of these tools and you will find your efforts of brushing (with the right tool) paying off.  Thanks for asking, Cindy Lou :)
