My dog is losing hair on his chest

ok i have a 1 year old neutered male doxie, and he has been losing hair on his chest. his diet or environment hasn't changed at all recently. i don't know what is wrong with him and i really want to find out. PLEASE HELP!!

Sometimes dog food ingredients change with no notification. Also dogs do develop allergies over time. Try first of all to put your dog on a good quality dog food for sensitive skin, there are quite a few. Check for fleas or other biting insects. Have you changed carpet fresh etc? how about laundry detergent? your dog could be reacting to something you're wearing yourself. Rule these things out one per week. If your dog is scratching or appears uncomfortable, try an oatmeal based bath such as aveeno. If it appears to be getting worse at any time, or does not improve, take baby to the vet
