min pin

I have a minature pincher. I just noticed today that the left side of his face is all swollen. I try to check it out and he bites you when you touch it. Any advice?

If he is in that much pain that he is striking at you as you move to touch it, he needs to be seen by a vet, immediatly. There is no way for me to say what it could be- it could be an infection, a broken and infected tooth, an animal or insect bite, a toxin in his blood or bone, a clot, etc. He really needs to see a vet!

I hope he feels better!
