Question
My mum feeds my dog with chicken meat and dog biscuits. After awhile, she vomits her food out. Can you help me??

Answer
Hi Angela;
Chicken meat and dog biscuits is not a good diet for your dog.
It does not give it all the nutrients it needs to be healthy, and may be giving it enough iron and protein to do some damage to the dog's health.
How old is your dog?
It would insure your dog's health, and be less expensive in the long run, as it would save on Veterinary bills, and the dog would live longer if it is in good health, the good brands of dog foor are lkess expensive than the chicken and dog biscuits are.
If the dog is under 8 months old, you should be feeding it a formula for puppies dog food.
Iams, Science Diet, Walthams, Eukenauba, and natural Choice are all good brands.
They cost more per pound that cheaper brands you buy in the grocery stores, because they do not have the useless fillers, that add nothing to the dog's nutritional needs, and just makes more poop to scoop.
Because they don't have these empty, bag filling ingredients, you feed less per meal, so per feeding, the cost is less.
The age of your dog makes a big difference in it's nutritional needs. There are formulas for pouppies, adult, active dogs, and senior dogs.
Dogs have different nutritional needs at different ages, just like humans do.
If she is vomiting the food, then she is not getting nutrients from it, or she may be eating much more than she needs because she likes the taste of the meat, so her stomach is too full, and she vomits. Either way, she is not getting the nutrients, and this will make her unhealthy.
