hi i have a ? my female chinese crested  shes had 2 litters in the past with previous owener but this will be my fist.what do i need for a box after she has the puppies what will i need to do to be ready for them  how do i make the whelping box?what do i need for the box do i need a heating pad at night its a little cool in the bed room thats were she will be after she has the puppieshow do i know if they are getting to much cool air or to much heat with the heating pad?i was thinkingh about gettting a plastic cage keeping to door off putting a heating pad with a cover over it and covering the box up with a cover will they get to hot?that way they wont get the cool air on them at night..

Since this is your dog's third litter, you should consider having her spayed after this litter has been weaned at around five weeks of age. No female dog should be bred before it's two years old, it shouldn't be bred every year, and the dog shouldn't have litters after age 6 or 7 (if your vet says at age 7 she's healthy enough!)
