I have a 7 year old mini pincher his name is buddy, I know he has a cold for 3 days now he has been sneezing %26 wheezing %26 not as playful as he usually is but he is eating ok %26 drinking ok, I was wondering what kinds of foods would b good 2 help him get better faster? thz

Your dog's condition requires a doctor's treatment, it's not something which would be cured by diet.

The dog equivalent of a cold is called an upper respiratory infection. If your dog has been sneezing for three days and is not acting like himself, it's then time to have him examined by a veterinarian. He may require medication.

Please do not put off having your dog examined, as this condition can turn into pneumonia.

If you are having trouble afford veterinary care, first talk to your regular vet. Ask your veterinarian if he or she will let you work out a payment plan. Many veterinarians are willing to work out a weekly or monthly payment plan so that you do not have to pay the entire cost of veterinary care up front. Another option is to contact your local shelter or Humane Society. Some shelters operate or know of local subsidized veterinary clinics or veterinary assistance programs. If you happen to live within driving distance to veterinary school, check with them to see if they offer discount services to the public.
