Puppy Potty Trianing

     My puppy is a male.I have had him for about 2 weeks now and I have been having a lot of trouble trying to teach him to pee and poop outside.When he eats or drinks I take him outside and play with him and then walk with him to try and get him to pee or poop when hes out and sometimes hell take a pee and ill praise him and then take him back inside and he will almost instantly go and pee on the floor. He also sleeps in a crate at night and he doesn't usually pee in his bed in the crate so right when he gets up he goes pee wether he is inside or out so i always put him right outside when he wakes up. He also stays in the crate during the day when i am not home and i do the same when i get home and let him out, take him outside to pee.Obviously the method i am using isn't working because i always catch him peeing on the floor and i sometimes find his poops.What is another way that i can train him to know that he needs to pee and poop outside and not inside on the floor.

Sometimes they find being outside too exciting and distracting to finish what you took them out for.  Try walking him around some more before going back in.
