Answerwell Blasted means the cells have budded and divided and developed their distinguishing characteristics. A Preblasted cell would therefore be one that is still in the immature stage before this occurs.
It would be relevant in a blood work up because all blood cells stem from a common group of cell known as blast cells. These develop almost at random into the various types of red and white blood cells.
