I think my Golden Retreiver Puppy is in heat.

My Golden Retriever is 8 months old and I'm not sure if she's in heat or sick.  She ate some chicken bones last night that she took of the counter, I checked online and seen someone asked the same question I gave her some bread and checked her stool she seams fine.  Tonight I noticed two spots of blood on the floor do you think its from the chicken bones or could she be in heat.  Any help will be helpful.  Thank You Patty

Chicken bones can splinter in your Dogs throat and cause problems and symptoms of illness. Because of this its very difficult to say whether your girl is on heat or not.

I would recommend you take her to the Vet for a examination and tell the Vet about the chicken bone and spots of blood you found on the floor. The Vet will check her over thoroughly and rule out any problems resulting from the chicken bone.
