Question
Hi we are thinking about getting a 10 week old Morkie.(he is now 4lbs and his parents are 6 and 7) He is healthy, happy, running and jumping like his siblings, but he does one issue...he is missing 3 toes on his rear left paw. will this effect him later in life? plz help. we are suppose to pu him 2morrow!!!!!!

Answer
Hello Vera,
How did he lose his toes?  Were they bitten off, did he have an accident or was he born without them.  If he was born without them, I would get a contract that says you will have the pup X-rayed to make sure there are no other abnormalities.  If there are, the breeder can pay for the vet bill and take the money back and refund your money.
I am sure everything is fine, but you just never know, and wouldn't you feel safer knowing before hand, so that if something else is seriously wrong you don't get a broken heart.
