old male and a male puppy

Question
We have almost 12 years old male Doberman,10 months old female Doberman and we intend taking another male Doberman puppy to us. Our male has very good character, is very social but tough when needed. Female, being 10 months old, is very playful and sometimes does not follow, but most of the times she obeys. Are there going to be some aggressions from the both towards puppy? What is to be taken care off? Is it advisable to take puppy at all?
Thank you for your reply

Answer
Hello Nina;
Taking on another Male when you already have an older male is going to have its problems!!!
When you have an older male, with a female in the mix, it will cause him to defend his territory...he will constantly try to challenge the new Puppy, and when the puppy is young he will get hurt!
When the Puppy gets older, he will fight, and probably you can lose one of them!!!
So, unless you are ready to keep the dogs separated, you will be dealing with these issues until your older male goes!
I would advise against this unless you have two separate fenced areas for both males, that you can keep them in a safe environment always!

Best regards, and let me know if you need further help.
