A diffrent problem......

I have a 4 month old female cocker/lab mutt and she has started leg mounting in the past two days......I don't understand it. My mom thinks that it's a symptom of her being ready to go into heat, but i don't know and want a professional answer.

Hi Brooke,
That is a possibility, but there is also another reason she could be doing that.  She could be being dominant with you.   So correct her harshly when she does that and make her sit and lay down until you say it is ok for her to get up...Both labs and cockers like to dominate, so you just be the boss from now on.  Do it now before she gets too big and too strong.
