Question
QUESTION: I have a pregnant boxer who was bred 10/5 & 10/7.  I have been checking her temperature twice daily and it has been averaging between 99.7-100.4, on Saturday 12/11 her temp dropped to 98.6.  Needless to say it is now Monday 12/13 and her temp is 100.7.  I did call the vet and they do not seem concerned.  Have you ever heard of this?

ANSWER: THIS DOG IS WAY OVER DUE   GET HER TO THE VET IMMEDIATELY BEFORE YOU LOSE THE WHOLE LITTER AND THE MOTHER.  TELL THE "VET" THAT SHE IS OVER 70 DAYS FROM HER FIRST BREEDING!!! AND NEEDS THOSE PUPS OUT OF HER IF THEY ARE STILL ALIVE.  DO YOU FEEL ANY  LIFE????
NANCY
PS  I HAVE LOST 3 LITTERS WITH WRONG DECISIONS FROM VETS, SPECIFICALLY THEIR CAVALIER ATTITUDE TOWARD LATENESS.  I HOPE SHE ISN'T DRIPPING GREEN OR BROWN, IF SO, THE LITTER IS GONE.

---------- FOLLOW-UP ----------

QUESTION: She is 70 days today from her first breeding, yes they are moving around.  There is nothing green or brown dripping from her and she is acting relatively normal, that is what is puzzling.  Like I said I can feel the pups moving around and kicking.

Answer
You can lose a whole litter in a matter of two hours, please get a second opinion and get her to a vet.... she is way overdue..

ps i just checked with two vets and a boxer breeder...they both say GET THOSE PUPPIES OUT OF HER!!!  they think you have probably lost a couple already
