Shih tzu dry nose & snorting

I have a one year old female shih tzu that is normally really hyper and playful. The last couple of days she has been snorting really bad at times like she can't hardly breathe. She is not her normal happy self and her nose is dry. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi, It sounds like she may have picked up an upper respiratory infection (basically a dog cold).  She needs to go to the vet and get on antibiotics to cure it.  There is really nothing else you can do.  Unlike human colds, dog colds are actual infections and need antibiotics to be cured.  Hope this helps,
