Question
I was just wondering if milk is bad for dogs? Can dogs have lambchop bones? Can dogs eat raw or cooked fish? last one sweetend whipped cream. I am a beagle/jack. Thank you for your time.

Answer
Buster,
dogs can develope lactose intolerance as they grow from puppy to adult, so it is inadvisable for dogs to have milk. Water is better for dogs to drink. Lamchop bones are fine for dogs as they will help build heathy teach and gums. Raw or cooked fish is a good protein source for dogs, just ensure the bones are all removed as they can cause serious problems as they pass throught the digestive tract. as for sweetened whip cream, this is the same issue as milk but with added conserns, the sweetener adds calories and ingredients which cause obesity, a major health problem for todays companion dogs. I would not feed sweetened whipcream or milk to a dog.
