Pad training once shes house broken

Question
I have a 7-month old Cairn terrier mix; she weighs 6# and she's been spayed.  She's trained to go outside, but with cold weather approaching she gets so cold going outside.  I've been trying to get her to go on a puppy pad in the garage.  So far we haven't had a lot of luck - any tips?  p.s.  She'll go potty outside when I say "Daphne, potty".  She's primarily an inside dog.

Answer
If she's used to going potty outside, I would NOT recommend trying to re-train her to go on a pad indoors. Teaching a dog to go on potty pads often confuses them, and, many times, they start to go potty in other parts of the house eventually. I would just leave things as they are. She has fur for a reason, and no longer than she has to be out there to do her business, she will be fine.
