yorkie puppy spot on stomach

I have a yorkie 6 mths. old.  he has an area on his stomach I noticed last week, that looks like an area that he might have hurt.  the hair is gone,though this is on his stomach, were there is just little short hairs. at first it looked like he hurt himself, but did not bleed, looked more like a scrap.
it is still there, he does not lick it or appear to know it is there.  I didn't know if I should be concerned.  he did try to jump on an area before that, and did not make it and hit against the side and that might have done it.
now it just looks like a discoloration that is smooth and round.
Any suggestions?

Hi Sandy,
I think he is probably just bruised.  He may have done it , as you said, when he was trying to jump up. If it is raised up, bleeding, scabby or open sore, then I really wouldn't worry about it.  If it is just a bruise, it will eventually fade.  I wouldn't worry if I were you.
