BREEDING MY LAB

MY CHOCOLATE LAB XEANA IS IN HEAT SHE IS 11 MONTHS OLD. SHE IS 70 LBS. IS SHE TO YOUNG TO BREED? ALSO WILL IT BE ANOTHER 11 MONTHS BEFORE SHE GOES IN HEAT AGAIN? THANKS SO MUCH.

Hi Ann,
your 11 month old lab is equal to a 7 year old child.  She is not full grown yet.  If you breed her now, she will lose calcium and weaken her bone strength and growth.  She is just too young.  I would wait until she is almost 2 years old
