Question
We are crate training our 9 1/2 week Yorkie. He will not poop in his crate UNLESS we have left hime alone for more than an hour. He is doing great with the training and willnot poop in the crate unless we have left him. If he knpws we are near, he will not soli his crate? Is he doing this because he is mad at us? How do we stop this behavior?

Answer
It could be the stress of being left alone.  Try blocking off the crate just leaving room for him to stretch out.  They sell dividers for some crates.  Also leave him a small Kong filled with peanut butter.  Be careful not to over feed him or replace too much of his diet with peanut butter.
