Dog Aggression and Pregnancy

Question
Hi

I recently took over the care of a 3yo Siberian Husky that is possibly pregnant. She came from a farm where she was kept in a greyhound cage, so she has not been socialized with people/other dogs much. The previous owner told me she is probably pregnant and if this is the case she would be 4 weeks at the moment.
My problem is that she is meant to be ok with male dogs and she has been living in harmony with my roommates 4yo desexed male Maltese until yesterday. My dog Dekoda attacked her Maltese more then 5 times yesterday and needed to be separated. I don't understand it because as far as I could see there was no food or toys involved - except maybe the first time. Could it be because of pregnancy/false pregnancy? Or a mind-set after the first fight over food?

Appreciate your help

Answer
It would be a good idea to have your vet test your dog and see if she really is pregnant or not

But either this could be hormones, lack of training, lack of socialization or a combo of all of them

If she is pregnant, you would have to wait for the puppies to leave her until really doing anything about it-but once you can,get her fixed and get her into obedience school,as thats what she probably needs more then anything right now(once she is ready that is)
