pug panting

My Shihtzu (sold as that) looks a lot like a Pug. He has been having snorting and panting. Besides losing weight is there anything else I can do?

Hello...well one things for sure pugs always have slick coats shituz's do not..and shituz's also have flat faces and can experiance the same problems as pugs/boston terriers.

If she is snoring quite alot of vomiting flem often she may have an enlongated soft palate or stenic nares...please see my website for more info

Also take her to your vet she shouldn't be loosing weight.
