eye drainage

Dear Kati,
I have a mixed breed Lab with a boxer face.  She has had thick green eye drainage for approx. 4 days now.  I wipe it away and it comes right back.  Could this be allergies and is there a simple remedy for it?

Thanks for your question.  Yes alergies sounds right...Very simple remedy....Get a wash cloth as warm and you can....saturate her eyes 3 times a day for about a week.  Even if you notice it stoping do that for one week straight.  That should take care of it.  If you dont notice any difference take her to the vet for some eye drops.  Hope this helps.
